My name is John Reynolds (JR) and I live and work in Ipswich and the surrounding Eastern region and also London on an adhoc basis. I am a keen trail runner and spend as much time as I can in my trail shoes.
I am actively involved through my work with sports such as running, triathlon, cycling, rugby, football, martial arts, boxing, gymnastics, OCR, weight training, equestrian and swimming.
Although sport is a common factor with many of my clients symptoms, it is far from being the only issue I deal with. I treat clients who have musculoskeletal injury, pain or dysfunction caused by any of life's stresses and from all walks of life so it needn’t be a sports injury that gives you reason to get in touch. I have also worked with people who have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Parkinsons, Asthma, Cerebral Palsy and Cancer for example.
On the flip side I work with clients to prevent injury through developing capabilities around balance, posture, foot fall, strength and conditioning.
I have studied extensively and my qualifications are recognised nationally and in many other countries as well. They enable me as a therapist to practice independently and also to obtain full comprehensive insurance cover. I am also a Level 4 Qualified Kinesiology Taping Specialist as well as being Pitch Side First Aid/Trauma and AED qualified.
My studies have covered all aspects of massage, remedial massage, soft tissue techniques, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, injury assessment and rehab, postural assessment, nutrition and the management of clients in a professional, clinical environment.
