So today this happened on the first mile of my 17 mile run. I’ve been working really hard on my speed and have written a speed biomechanics development programme that I’ve been trialing. I felt good after warming in so I went for it. I’ve never had a mile start with a 4. Ever. I’m 52 years old. I’ve had loads of 6’s and a fair few 5’s but never a 4.
Why am I posting it? To basically show you that with hard work and determination anything is possible. I went to a meeting last night and left feeling that people may be talking themselves out of things before they’ve even tried.
Reach for your stars people, whatever they are. Your journey, but work hard and try.
