Great East Run 2017

If you missed it, this landed yesterday.

An undoubted economic and social boost for the town and the region which can only be a hugely positive thing.

I've never run in a "Great" series race and do very little road racing myself but to me the course looks flat and fast. At £30 it may be a bit steep for some as a half marathon option but the other "Great Series" races do okay so lets see.

I'm personally hoping that this is the beginning of Ipswich getting its own marathon distance race back on the map and maybe a same weekend 10km as well in years to come. It would be great to see the town have a yearly weekend running festival moving forward.

Will Mo be coming to Ipswich to race in the coming years?

Only time will tell I guess.
