Endurance Life Coastal Trail Series Ultra

I don't normally promote the races I take part in but thought I would give this one a plug. Yesterday I ran in the Endurance Life Coastal Trail Series Ultra here in Suffolk. I was interested to see how much value for money was on offer as head-to-head with other local races it is expensive. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and thought that went into this event and will certainly think about doing it again next year if my diary permits.

It is a beautiful 34 mile route winding up the Suffolk coast from Dunwich, through Minsmere to Walberswick and back. The day was pretty good in terms of weather and terrain, food stations were well stocked with Clif Bars and Shot Bloks and the support people were fantastic.

Certainly worth thinking about for next year if you are thinking about a pancake flat shorter distance ultra. The date for next year is 22 October 2016.
