Training is a habit

Training for something is a habit that delivers on so many levels, discipline being the main one in the run up to the event, as well as confidence on the day that you can deliver on your goal. It will give you so much more though through the personal journey that sees you working to deliver yourself to the start line in the best shape that you can be on that day, for that day. Excuses are for when you were at school and forgot to do something so you made something up so you wouldn't get into trouble. Embrace your training schedules. You'll learn so much about who you are by investing in them. Look after your body.
