Sit Stand Functionality

Some recent reading took me to a study that centred around the ability to sit and stand off the floor unaided. The study talks about our ability to do so being key to determine how long we are going to live.

I myself am officially now classed as middle-aged and people in my age bracket and older who need to use both their hands and their knees to get up and down the study states, are almost seven times more likely to die within six years, compared to those who can spring up and down without support. There is data behind the study and as where anything involving death is concerned, it is a sobering read.

When was the last time you sat on the floor, and how easily did you move from standing to sitting and back up to standing?

See you at Core Club maybe?...
