Ever been to a run shoe shop and run on a treadmill at speeds slower and faster than you run in everyday life to analyse your run form? The body and the skeletal system will react differently to running at different paces, so it shouldn't actually work like that. Alternatively, your need may be purely based on new or ongoing pain.
